When visitors leave comments on the site we may collect the data given in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for our cookies and also to help spam detection.

We use a Facebook social plugin for our comments therefore we do not collect/store any personal data from the user as it is taken from your social media. The plugin uses the official Facebook script for Facebook comments. Facebook will have all user data and it may use it according to its policies. Who we share your data with?
We do not share the data with anyone unless requested for legal purposes by the government. The Facebook comments plugin also does not share any data with anyone.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. The images we upload are our own otherwise stated or used from open source platforms.

When you attend any of our events you may be opted-in to receive our monthly emails. From time to time, we may reach out to you privately which is separate from our newsletter to update you on timings, location and/or anything related to that specific event. These are for your convenience so that you are updated on the status of the event with clear instructions so that you are able to attend.

We will not share your data with any business unless for legal purposes but your data will be subjected to be shared within the Madhat Girls empire. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data

competition or prize draw rules. In the event that you win, we will notify you of this via email or social media which we may publish your first name. If you want us to tag you please provide your social media handle.
